Born in Busto Arsizio on 11 January 2005 to an Italian father and Nigerian mother, Zeroli rose through AC Milan’s youth ranks after joining at age five. He captained the Primavera and made his senior debut in December 2023, before earning four Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri.

His move to Monza represents a strategic effort to gain regular first-team minutes. Speaking after the transfer, Zeroli said "Going to Monza was a choice to find playing time and compete in Serie A, but Milan remains my family." He praised coach Alessandro Nesta and revealed he is settling in well.
Though he has featured eight times for Monza so far, Zeroli is yet to open his Serie A scoring account, but the loan is being viewed as a stepping stone in his development.

Given his Nigerian lineage, Zeroli remains eligible for the Super Eagles and has expressed pride in his dual heritage keeping open the door to representing Nigeria at senior level despite his current Italy youth ties.

Editorial

We applaud both AC Milan and Monza for prioritising Kevin Zeroli’s development with this loan move. It’s a commendable balance of nurturing talent while providing a platform for real competitive growth.
We note Zeroli’s roots growing up in Milan’s academy since age five and leading the Primavera speak volumes of his potential. Yet he is wise to seek regular senior minutes, illustrating the maturity of his career management.
We believe this loan is significant not only for club football but also for international prospects. Zeroli’s Nigerian eligibility through his mother adds a compelling layer. As he gains Serie A experience, the Super Eagles may benefit from a versatile, tactically astute midfielder.

We think his public acknowledgement of both nationalities reflects a thoughtful, open-minded athlete. Whether he ultimately picks Nigeria or Italy, football wins when multicultural talent flourishes.
We return to where we began: this move sends a message that patience, opportunity and identity matter. Kevin Zeroli’s journey has only just begun.
